Has your participation in Why America? helped you to teach your students what it means to form A More Perfect Union? Have your students show us by March 30, 2021 and you and they will qualify to win recognition from the nation’s leading education organization and an Amazon gift card!

Here’s how:

Using one or more of the topics featured this year in Why America? Toward a More Perfect Union program, Students should tell us iin between 200-350 words how that topic helped them learn  what “toward a more perfect union” means.

Essays should cite particular lessons and reference data shares in that lesson as well as bring in outside learning where helpful.

Prizes will be awarded to the students whose work most demonstrates knowledge and appreciation of the topic.

CER will select one grand prize winner and one honorable mention for each of the following grade levels: 4th-6th grade, 7th-9th grade, 10th-12th grade.
