Do you know what it means to form A More Perfect Union? Tell us and you’ll not only qualify to win recognition from the nation’s leading education organization (which will look great on your transcript!), but you’ll qualify for an Amazon gift card, too!
Here’s how: Tell us in between 200-350 words “What it means to move toward a more perfect union.” What did the Founders believe? Discuss an example of where the Founders’ vision for a nation that could continue to improve was realized.
Essays should demonstrate knowledge of this topic, the principles on which America was founded and what students learned as a result of their educator (a teacher or parent) participating in the CER Why America? Toward a More Perfect Union program.
Prizes will be awarded on a monthly basis to the students whose work most demonstrates knowledge and appreciation of the topic, and announced on the CER Why America? Website and at our live sessions. Students’ educators will be recognized as well.
Fifteen student and educator winners will be selected over the course of the program on a rolling basis, announced monthly, with a grand prize winner and honorable mention for each of the following levels: 4th-6th grade, 7th-9th grade, 10th-12th grade.
